Who me, a vlogger? Pretty bizarre actually. You never know where the path of life is headed. Guess that's what makes it interesting, depending on your perspective. I mean, I was born before color TV and now I "vlog". The word would have caused people to think about aliens and Satan in the era that I was born. Such a different world. And it seems to change more every day. Like, I'm now a freaking "senior citizen!" UNBELIEVEABLE! You just never think it will happen to you. Even now that I am, I have to remind myself of it. Fortunately I have other things, like reminding myself to recharge my cell phone, to distract me from thinking about my "advanced" age. Sometimes AARP does it for me by sending me an offer. "Thanks guys, but no thanks. I'm not old enough to get in your club yet. " Oh wait, yes I am! What the hell?
So it makes you think, what am I doing with... everything. My past, present and future (or what's left of it)? I continue to live is all I really know. But I don't actually know what that means though. I don't observe my life like an outsider might. I have my daily routine and I get most it done without even thinking much about it. Like being on auto pilot. Have you ever had a conversation where someone asks you what you did over the weekend and... you can't remember very much of any of it! I have. It's not an age thing either. It's a, "I was on auto pilot" thing. Going through the physical motions but the mind was somewhere else. Let me ask you, what did you do last weekend? What did you do yesterday? Do you remember anything I said in the first paragraph? Ha! j/k.
Anyway, I am becoming a vlogger because I want to observe who I have become out of all the experiences life has led me through. I've experienced REAL love and REAL hatred. I have experienced peace and chaos in my heart and emotions. Even in my physical body. I have experienced euphoria and total darkness. I have felt disappointed. I have been a disapointment. And I have felt completely whole. Geez, you'd think all of this, and more, would have implanted certain character qualities in my life. But I can only know if I choose to be an observer of my life. And the question really is, what am I going to find? (This could be scary! I might be certifiably looney! I'm sure in some ways I am in fact. Geeps!)
So if you happen upon this blog and have cared enough to read this far, this blog is me doing my thing in my normal everyday life. You will actually SEE me, on video, when I am up and when I am down. When I know where I am going and when I am so freaking lost I can't find my ass with both hands in broad daylight. When I am feeling good and when I'm not. And although you can see this kind of thing anywhere in almost anybody's blog/vlog... hopefully this one will offer you just a little more in practical and entertainment value for taking the time to check in.
So,see ya back here, whenever...
